Mixing culture, creativity and charm, this collective work by five Philippino playwrights examines family obligation, ethnic identity and sexual desire all the while managing to keep a sense of humour about itself and its message. The abilities of the acting ensemble vary, but the passion and precision of the piece is strong enough to fill in the gaps. Although centred on a specific cultural background, the stories and struggles are broad enough, and human enough, to be accessible to all. Cleverly and simply staged, this is a fine example of what making good use of a Bring Your Own Venue space can achieve.

I'm pretty much in agreement with the other guy. Not all of the vignettes worked for me, but a few of them were really well done. And all of them were short enough that a weak one didn't halt the momentum of the overall show. If you go, make sure you sit in the first row.

Totally agree
You can't leave Baggage and not like it. It is disjointed, you can tell it wasn't all written by the same person and a couple times (dinner with the four cookies) I couldn't tell what was going on but a great ending and some magic moments. Go see it!
