About an Hour is an improv about, well, whatever the audience chooses. The cast used one suggestion and created a lively one-act comedy that was focused enough to be a rehearsed play. The four brilliant comedians cracked a range of over-used jokes about booze, sex and Betty White that had everyone in hysterics. Most impressive was the chemistry between Jan Caruana and Rob Baker. In fact, these two Bad Dog veterans made this should-be-cliché bit a standout. The show never goes above and beyond, it often comes across strangely similar to every other improv sketch, and the jokes are regurgitated, but you just don’t give a damn because you’re busy keeling over, laughing to the point that your stomach hurts.
